The Board of Directors of Mount Sinai Hospital is comprised of dedicated and dynamic volunteers from our community. With the exception of ex-officio members, all members of the Board of Directors are elected at the Annual Meeting of Members.

The Board of Directors is charged with the duty of managing the affairs of the Hospital in accordance with the Hospital's mission, vision and values so that it continues to "discover and deliver the best patient care with the heart and values true to our heritage."

In order to effectively oversee the complex operations of the Hospital, the Board appoints Committees and delegates specific responsibilities to them.

All of the Board's meetings are open to the public, subject to Procedures for Attending and Addressing Meetings of the Board of Directors.
