Accreditation
Every three years, Mount Sinai Hospital is assessed by external peers from Accreditation Canada to evaluate organizational practices in areas such as patient safety, communication, medication use, worklife and workforce, infection control and risk assessment.
Accreditation is a method that allows the Hospital to self-reflect, address gaps in policies and procedures and review the patient care, quality initiatives and programs as well as the overall functions of the hospital. It is a chance to celebrate our success and indentify opportunities for further enhancement.
Mount Sinai Hospital has been accredited for over 50 years and was most recently accredited in 2009.
