Employee Satisfaction

Mount Sinai Hospital works hard to provide a healthy and supportive work environment for employees. Employees are surveyed to identify opportunities for new initiatives and action plans to improve work life and environment for employees.

Employee Satisfaction Survey
*Percent positive is the percentage of respondents who gave a positive answer to survey questions. For example, it might be the percentage of people who answered either good, very good or excellent.   

 

What are we doing to improve the patient experience?

Several initiatives are underway to improve our employees’ overall experience, including:

  • Mount Sinai Redevelopment focused on improved layout and workflow
  • Management and Employee Development Certificates
  • Enhanced and consistent communication at interdisciplinary rounds
  • Nursing Learning Days
  • Healthy Workplace Framework established, and programs introduced focusing on Wellness Program Awareness, Lifestyle Change, and a Supportive Environment
