Patient Satisfaction

Every clinic experience is important and Mount Sinai Hospital is dedicated to prioritize safety, quality and the patient experience in everything we do.  A random sample of patients who stay overnight at Mount Sinai Hospital are sent a questionnaire asking for feedback on their experience.

What are we doing to improve the patient experience?

Several corporate initiatives are underway to improve our patients’ overall experience, including:

  • Training staff on patient communications
  • Team rounds for patients and families
  • Discharge planning to help patients as they go home
  • Improved pain management programs for our patients
  • Inclusion of patients as advisors on various committees
  • Training staff on service excellence
