Renew Sinai is our multi-year capital redevelopment project to create, expand and modernize our space. This major construction project will help us provide our patients with the best medicine, and give the bright minds and big hearts of Mount Sinai Hospital the best environment possible to work, learn and offer outstanding care.

The first part of Renew Sinai includes structural upgrades to the main building at 600 University Avenue and adding six new floors to its west tower to accommodate our Lawrence and Frances Bloomberg Centre for Women’s and Infants’ Health and other patient programs.

We will be adding more private family spaces and incorporating state-of-art technology to care for the more than 1,000 infants a year in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

The improvements will also help provide the best medicine possible for the almost 6,500 babies our excellent health-care team delivers every year.
