The Human Rights and Health Equity Office is designed to respond to the diversity of Toronto’s population. The Hospital is dedicated to ensuring:
- a positive and respectful work environment for all employees;
- equitable and accessible services for patients, families and visitors; and
- an inclusive, welcoming surrounding for all.
These goals are currently emphasized in Mount Sinai Hospital’s values and in existing policies related to harassment and abuse.
