The Office of Patient Safety at Mount Sinai Hospital was established to develop and promote programs that enhance the delivery of safe patient care and to increase the overall value of patient services at Mount Sinai.

Through ongoing education and training we continue to engage all our staff and physicians in the culture of patient safety.

Ancillary departments and our Centres of Excellence are always encouraged and supported in the planning and implementation of patient safety-related improvement initiatives, including those aligned with Accreditation Canada Standards.

We also work closely with front line staff and senior leadership to facilitate information exchange and provide meaningful guidance.
