Oral Pathology and Oral Medicine

The clinic specializes in the diagnosis and management of oral diseases.

Patients are seen by staff oral pathologists:

• Dr. I. Leong, Head
• Dr. K. Burgess
• Dr. D. Chugh
• Dr. N. Marchese

Hours

Clinics are weekly and scheduled on Tuesday (am), Wednesday (am), Thursdays (am), and Fridays (am/pm).

Referrals

Patients must be referred by their dentist (DDS, DMD), or physician (MD). We ONLY accept direct referrals from the dentist or physician (not via the patient).

Please complete the referral form below and fax to our office. We will contact the referring doctor with the scheduled appointment.

Fees

Consultation fees and biopsy (if necessary) are covered by OHIP, however, please note additional procedures (for example, dental-x rays) are NOT COVERED BY OHIP.

Fees are payable, in full, following the appointment. Fees may be paid by cash, credit card, or debit card.

The clinic is a joint initiative between the Department of Dentistry and Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery.

Patients are seen jointly by Dr. I. Leong, oral pathologist, and Dr. Y. Chan, otolaryngologist

Hours

Clinics are held one Friday a month.

Referrals

Patients must be referred by their physician (MD) only. We ONLY accept direct referrals from the physician (not via the patient).
