Our main services include comprehensive ophthalmology, retina, glaucoma and neuro-ophthalmology and oculoplastics. Mount Sinai Hospital is unique in being designated as the oculoplastics centre for the Department of Ophthalmology and Vision Sciences at the University of Toronto, and is considered a centre of excellence for oculoplastics.

As an academic teaching hospital, our Department of Ophthalmology includes medical students and ophthalmology resident physicians. In addition, our Oculoplastics Fellowship training program is the only such program outside of the United States that is a member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons.
