Services for Visiting Medical Students and Research Scholars

The library collection is searchable through the HSICT Catalogue. Use the 'Advanced Search' function to limit items to the Sinai Health library collection. Visiting medical students and researchers are welcome to visit the library for research and study. The library is wheelchair accessible. Please ask a staff member if you need assistance in accessing any materials or equipment. Available services include

• computer workstations with Internet access

• photocopying / printing

The Sidney Liswood Library is a member of Docline, the U.S. National Library of Medicine's interlibrary loan request and referral system. Our Docline LIBID is ONCOUS.  For Racer requests our location code is OTMS.  We also accept requests by email [email protected] or phone 416-586-4800 x 4614.

Interlibrary Loan Fees

• Docline Freeshare libraries, reciprocal partners and members of the Health Sciences Information Consortium of Toronto (HSICT) - $3 per item 
• Requests from non-profit organizations - $10 or reciprocal charges
• Requests from for-profit organizations - $25
