Medical Education

Sinai Health, including Mount Sinai Hospital and Hennick Bridgepoint Hospital supports the training of Medical Students, Residents and Fellows enrolled at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Medicine. We also provide elective experiences for learners from across Canada and around the world. Mount Sinai Hospital and Hennick Bridgepoint Hospital students learn important clinical skills and how to collaborate with other members of the health care team to provide patient and family-centred care. Students learn in a variety of settings including acute and chronic care, ambulatory care, rehabilitation and complex continuing care.

Sinai Health (Mount Sinai Hospital and Hennick Bridgepoint Hospital) is an anchor site of the Wightman-Berris Academy of the University of Toronto. In association with UHN and Toronto East General Hospital, it is the largest of the four Faculty of Medicine Academies and provides an extremely diverse range of opportunities for clinical learning at the undergraduate level.

Our Postgraduate Programs offer training in a wide range of core and specialty programs of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the College of Family Physicians of Canada through the University of Toronto. Clinical Fellowships are offered in highly specialized areas in which Mount Sinai has clinical expertise.
