Spiritual Care Education

The Department of Spiritual Care at Sinai Health offers Clinical Pastoral Educational programs recognized by the Canadian Association for Spiritual Care and College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.

We welcome learners from a variety of educational programs, including University of Toronto (and affiliated colleges), Tyndale University and Michener Institute, who are seeking to gain knowledge and skill providing spiritual care in healthcare setting.

Clinical training at Sinai Health is geared towards preparing learners to become skillful spiritual care clinicians. The program is focused on gaining self-awareness and learning the art of spiritual care in a multi-faith, multi-cultural setting. We are an inclusive program that welcomes learners from every cultural background and any ability.

Sinai Health offers opportunities to learn in a multi-disciplinary setting in acute care, ICU, with mothers and infants, rehabilitation services, palliative care, mental health and much more.
