Postgraduate residents and fellows have the opportunity to:
  • Choose from a wide range of Mount Sinai’s specialties and subspecialties;
  • Work with a graded level of responsibility under the supervision of Mount Sinai’s world-renowned physicians;
  • Enhance their medical knowledge, clinical skills and practical medicine in a leading-edge research, teaching and clinical care institution;
  • Experience a variety of regional, provincial and national programs based at Mount Sinai, including the Clinical Diabetes Research Unit, High Risk Obstetrics, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Neonatal Care,  Reconstructive Orthopaedics, Temporo Mandibular Joint Replacement Program, Critical Care Medicine, Rubinoff Bone and Tissue Bank, and Bone and Soft Tissue Sarcoma; and 
  • Participate in Mount Sinai’s Program for Resuscitation Education and Patient Safety (PREPS) that uses synthetic patient simulators to train health professionals how to respond in emergency situations.
