Our Achievements
The Peter A. Silverman Centre for International Health (PASCIH) has played an important role in:
- Developing the Centre’s lead program, CISEPO (Canada International Scientific Exchange Program), into a sustainable and internationally recognized "Network of Knowledge” to address cross-border health in the Middle East;
- Creating the Peter A. Silverman Global eHealth Program (PASGeP) and developing the Canadian Connection Collaboration to deliver eHealth programming for capacity building in Canada and internationally;
- Establishing the Middle East Association for the Management of Hearing Loss and the MEHA Centre in Jordan;
- Training more than one hundred health professionals and students in Canada and internationally;
- Bringing together over 2,500 health professionals across borders to cooperate in health projects;
- Facilitating over 50 Continuing Education programs in Canada and internationally;
- Developing functional partnerships with over 30 universities, hospitals, NGOs and the private sector;
- Sustaining meaningful and productive partnerships with Canadian and international governments and their representatives.
