CFSH was established as a network of family planning associations in 1964; in 1974 the name Planned Parenthood Federation of Canada (PPFC) was adopted and PPFC joined the International Planned Parenthood Federation. To more accurately reflect our mission and to speak to new generations, PPFC became the Canadian Federation for Sexual Health in October 2005. CFSH has position statements on emergency contraceptive pills, same-sex marriage, Nonoxynol-9, HIV Integration, microbicides, abortion, etc.

The CCTC is a national non-profit organization specializing in tobacco and health issues. The mission of the CCTC is to ensure a healthier society, free from addiction to, and involuntary exposure to, tobacco products. Find fact sheets, booklets and press releases.
