Patient Relations
The goal of the Patient Relations Unit is to enhance the overall quality of care at Mount Sinai Hospital.
The Patient Relations Unit works with the health-care team to enhance the Hospital experience for our patients, families and visitors, and feedback is very important. We encourage you to contact the Patient Relations Unit should you have any compliments, comments, concerns or suggestions regarding Mount Sinai Hospital services. You may contact us by phone at 416-586-4800 ext. 5066 or by e-mail at patientrelationsunit@mtsinai.on.ca.
How to address questions or concerns when you are a patient in the hospital
During your stay in the hospital, we encourage you to discuss your questions and concerns with a member of your health-care team (i.e., primary nurse, nursing unit administrator or treating physician). If there are certain matters which you feel require further attention, you can contact the Patient Relations Unit at patientrelationsunit@mtsinai.on.ca.
We care what you think
Following your discharge, you may receive a questionnaire in the mail. All of these questionnaires give an opportunity to comment on the care and service provided by our hospital. We are very interested in hearing your comments, but we will also respect your choice if you decide not to participate.
If you do not want to receive a questionnaire, please contact the Patient Relations Unit at 416-586-4800 ext. 5066.
