Dr. Carlo Ammendolia, DC, PhD: A practicing chiropractor for 26 years, Dr. Ammendolia is also a staff clinician in the Department of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto.
Jamie Baxter-Camp, HBA Kin, MSc PT: A practitioner of contemporary and advanced acupuncture, Jamie interned with the Leeds professional rugby union team while achieving her MSc in physiotherapy. She also worked with the University of Western Ontario track and field team while receiving her honours degree in Kinesiology. Jamie was also the rinkside physiotherapist for the Toronto Marlies Midget AAA hockey team during the 07-08 season.
Dr. Davor Cepo, BSc., DC:.A graduate of McMaster University and New York Chiropractic College, Dr. Cepo has utilized a combination of therapies (ART, Contemporary Medical Acupuncture, joint manipulation) and his own unique experiences as a former Olympic and Canadian National soccer team member to help athletes of all levels with injury recovery and performance enhancement. He is a Rehab Specialty Fellowship candidate and an instructor for the McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program.
Dr. Adam Chen: An acupuncture specialist with more than 20 years’ experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Dr. Chen’s work and research focuses on acupuncture and conditions including insomnia, headache and women’s health issues. Dr. Chen has spoken at national and international conferences and has consulted on acupuncture for the Government of Canada.
Dr. Glenn Copeland: One of North America’s leading podiatrists, Dr. Copeland has worked with Mount Sinai’s Sports Clinic for more than 25 years. A best-selling author, Dr. Copeland has worked extensively with Major League Baseball, including the Toronto Blue Jays, and is the former CEO of Cleveland Clinic Canada. He is also a leading educator of foot biomechanics.
Cathy Fournier, RMT: Cathy has 18 years’ experience and specializes in Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, and deep tissue massage. She specializes in chronic pain and in particular chronic pelvic pain and women’s health. Cathy is also an instructor at the renowned Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy and coordinator for a women’s chronic pain clinic.
Dr. Michael Prebeg, DC, BSc, CSCS: A consultant to Olympic and professional athletes, Dr. Prebeg uses Active Release Techniques (ART), contemporary medical acupuncture and joint manipulation to speed recovery and enhance performance. Dr. Prebeg is a clinical instructor of contemporary acupuncture at McMaster University and a consulting chiropractor for the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays.
Dr. Mark Scappaticci, DC, BSc (Hons), DAt FCCSS, CKTI: A chiropractor who has worked with Canadian athletes at several Olympic Games, Dr. Scappaticci has been using Active Release Techniques (ART) for more than eight years for the treatment of sports injuries. He also teaches ART at McMaster University and is a consulting chiropractor for the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays.
Kathy Felkai: As a yoga teacher for the past eight years, Kathy Felkai helps her clients take back their health, using yoga to help define the body’s limitations while also helping it flourish and heal itself. Using yoga’s breathing, grounding and releasing teacnhiques, Kathy helps others tap into new sources of energy and spirit.
