Indigenous Patient Navigator

Support is available for First Nation, Inuit and Metis patients coming to Mount Sinai for cancer care.

The Indigenous Patient Navigator is available to help with:

  • Support for patients travelling to Toronto for cancer treatment
  • Answering questions about what to expect with upcoming appointments or tests
  • Introducing you to your health care providers
  • Finding more information about cancer and its treatment
  • Connecting you with spiritual support, as well as support in the community
  • Assisting with applications for financial and transportation services
