Support is available for First Nation, Inuit and Metis patients coming to Mount Sinai for cancer care.
The Indigenous Patient Navigator is available to help with:
- Support for patients travelling to Toronto for cancer treatment
- Answering questions about what to expect with upcoming appointments or tests
- Introducing you to your health care providers
- Finding more information about cancer and its treatment
- Connecting you with spiritual support, as well as support in the community
- Assisting with applications for financial and transportation services
