Managing Anxiety

It is common for individuals and families coping with cancer to feel anxious. This anxiety often fluctuates and may come and go within a few days. However, when anxiety lasts longer, it may be time to seek help to manage it. Speak with your health care team to connect with one of our experts in emotional care.

The experts at Cancer Care Ontario have created a guide for people who have anxiety before, during or after cancer treatment. It can be used by patients, their family, friends or caregivers as a good starting place to learn more. It does not replace advice from your health care team.
