As leaders in the diabetes community, the LSCD Certified Diabetes Educators (CDEs) worked with Diabetes Canada to create Building Competency in Diabetes Education Manuals, which includes The Essentials Manual and the Advanced Practice Modules. The Essentials Manual is the foundation of the CDE Exam in Canada.

Courses Offered

The CDE Exam Prep Workshop is designed to help prepare future CDEs to write the examination. Participants will work through key competencies as outlined by the CDECB, practice multiple choice questions, identify problem areas, and discuss study tips with experienced CDEs. See the 2024 agenda here.

2 half day Exam Prep Workshops will be offered virtually on Tuesday April 16th and May 7th, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. (EST). Register here.
