Continuing Education for Staff

PLM staff contribute to continuing medical and technical education in a variety of forums - delivering rounds, conferences, teleconferences, workshops, courses, seminars, and lectures. These activities occur within Mount Sinai Hospital, other hospitals in Toronto, as well as numerous locations nationally and internationally.

PLM strongly encourages and supports its own staff to attend and participate in seminars, courses, conferences and other educational sessions that contribute to their professional development.

PLM also hosts a number of educational events, including events for its medical/scientific staff, residents and technologists. The Harold G. Pritzker Memorial lecture series, one of the longest running lecture series associated with pathology in Toronto, is an example of the continuing education events offered by PLM.
