Michael Cord

GP Psychotherapy; Individual Short and Long Term Dynamic Psychotherapy, Supervision of Psychotherapy with a Diverse Patient Population especially PTSD and Personality Disorders, primarily informed by psychodynamic approaches

Dr. Cord tries to meet a supervisee’s needs, giving full consideration to the extent of their experience, the clinical language they prefer, and the demands on their time as practicing professionals.

Currently, he directs development of supervising mentors for the Ontario College of Family Physicians in their Collaborative Mental Health Program, and is a psychotherapy supervisor for the GPPA. and the CPSO. He has practiced and taught supervision of psychotherapy since 1997.
 
Presently, he is teaching for the CAMH Primary Care Psychiatry Course, the GPPA Psychotherapy Certification program, and the Advanced Psychotherapy Program of the Toronto Psychoanalytic Society.
