Rodney Slonim

Crisis Intervention

Dr. Rodney Slonim is a Psychiatrist and Psychoanalyst, a primary supervisor in the Resident training program, a past recipient of the Mount Sinai Teaching award with a special interest in Crisis Intervention using the Narrative Model. He has published and lectured on Crisis Intervention, Boundary Issues in Psychotherapy and Supervision, He is interested in promoting the teaching and learning of Psychodynamic Theory and its application in the broad spectrum of therapeutic treatments.  Dr. Rodney Slonim is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto.   He is Head of the Ambulatory Service and Crisis Intervention in the Department of Psychiatry at Mount Sinai Hospital.
