Course Objectives:
Fetal Interventions are becoming increasingly less invasive and require training and experience for optimal results. The Fetal Therapy Simulation Course provides an excellent opportunity to explore these techniques in detail, to gain practical “hands on” experience with the instruments and procedures and to receive feedback on one’s performance and the avoidance of complications. Our faculty are all experienced fetal medicine practitioners from some of the world’s leading fetal medicine centres. Procedures will be performed using lifelike maternal and fetal simulation models. This course is suitable for maternal fetal medicine practitioners performing fetal interventions. Participants will also be introduced to a network for sharing and discussion of challenging cases in the future.
