Primary Hip and Knee Replacement Surgery
The Hip & Knee Replacement Program also offers joint replacement surgery in the outpatient setting. Patients who meet pre-operative and post-operative assessment and criteria, can return home the same day of surgery to continue their recovery.
Primary hip and knee replacement surgery takes a team-based approach and involves appropriate patient selection, patient education, improved pain and nausea control, early mobilization, and ensuring the active support of caregivers at home for the patient’s safe discharge on the same day of surgery.
