Daniel Silver

Borderline Personality Disorder

Dr. Silver was an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto, from 1976 to 1994, and Assistant Professor of McGill University, Montreal from 1972 to 1973.  He has been a Clinical Consultant of the Department of Psychiatry at Mount Sinai Hospital since 1994.  He was the Deputy Chief of the Department of Psychiatry from 1990 to 1996, and the Head of Ambulatory Services at Mount Sinai Hospital from 1985 to 1996.  He was nominated for the Robin Hunter Award for Excellence in clinical teaching in 1985 and 1990.  He was also nominated for PAIRO‚Äôs Excellence in Clinical Teaching Award in 1990 and for an Annual Teaching Award, at Mount Sinai Hospital in 1991.  He has done extensive research on Borderline Disorder.
