Oophorectomy Clinic
This is a joint program with Princess Margaret Hospital, Breast Oncology group and Mount Sinai gynecology.
For select premenopausal women with breast cancer, options for management of their disease may include prophylactic (preventative) or therapeutic (treatment) removal of the ovaries and/or Fallopian tubes.
Women who are counselled by their medical oncologist that this is an option to consider are referred to this clinic for surgical assessment and surgery.
