Mouth problems, such as mouth sores, sometimes occur during cancer treatment. With a sore mouth it’s tempting to cut down on meals, but you need to keep eating to build up your strength. Many mouth issues are caused by cancer medicines and, the good news is, they usually improve over time with proper care. Ask your health care team for resources.
