Newborn Care

Your care team works with you and your family to ensure you and your baby are healthy and you feel prepared to care for your baby at home.

Our care team is dedicated to supporting you and your family once your baby is born. In the first few hours with your newborn, we can support with infant feeding, skin to skin care, as well as newborn screening for treatable diseases.

Educational materials are available in the Mother Baby Unit through your bedside TV screen. Your nurse can help you access this information and provide further details.
